In order to promote resource sustainability, EPA intends to implement product verification, through controlling the quality of recycled products and giving it a verification status, the value of these renewable products can be increased, enhancing resource recycling in the next stage, which is the purpose of this plan. The summary of this project is as follows: Regarding the establishment of a quality control and process optimization plan for products containing recycled contents, relevant quality management standards have been collected and analyzed. A consultation meeting was held to draft this quality control and process optimization system, and items of concern have been identified. Preliminary test will be conducted on waste plastic (made into SRF) to obtain the precision, traceability and practicability data of the system. After surveying the target industry, one SRF reuse industry is willing to cooperate with us, and the trial is completed in October. In the part of establishing the verification method of recycled contents, the comparison of domestic and foreign recycled material content verification standards has been completed. We also held discussion meetings with other related projects to guarantee consistency and conformance in the future system. We have completed the establishment of the recycled content verification process and the relevant verification scheme, and "recycled plastic products" is selected as the target for the product verification trial test. We have conducted a trial on a manufacturer that uses recycled plastic film to make cleaning bags, and we are consulting another plastic bottle manufacturer to pretest on our verification program. Regarding the tracking program of construction and demolition waste aggregate used in maritime engineering, we have completed the research and analysis of related technical guidelines and quality management specifications for the processing of recycled brick-stone material for land reclamation, including the whole process of third-party certifications, from application, sample testing and education and training of inspectors. We also completed a draft on "Guidelines for the management of Certification Bodies for Recycled brick-stone material for land reclamation" and "Guidelines for the management of flowing Audit for Recycled brick-stone material for land reclamation ".
